New house, new life, committee duties, landscaping, joined stampin' Up yadda yadda yadda. I might do a year review with photos after all a picture tells a thousand words so that will make up for my absence.

Blog slap

I have been blog slapped a few times for being so far behind on both my blogs!!
I will do my best to do some catching up on where things are at so stay tuned.

In short we moved into our new home and I have had no time at all.

We have been on a recent holiday so I will do an update on the boys and family soon.

I trust that then all will be forgiven!

My first OTP

Yep this is my first attempt at on OTP. I completed this flower hanger for my girlfriends daughter who celebrated her second birthday. It was the therapy I needed at it has been far to long since I have had the time to do anything for myself. I really enjoyed it and will certainly do more in the future, once I unpack all my scrap stuff that is! I will be packing everything up very soon for the big move, at least my stash will be unpacked in it's very own scrap room.

Yay Oscar!!!

Oscar got his first two stickers to put on his aquatic development chart in swimming today.

The first sticker was for him being able to "jump in confidently" and the second for "walking off the mat", which is supposed be "crawl off the mat" but Mr confident just stands up and stomps right across the mat and straight into the arms of his proud Daddy.

Daniel and I were watching and taking photos from the sidelines, we cheered and clapped when he did it. When we got home Daniel and Daddy helped Oscar put the sticker on his chart.

They make me laugh everyday.

Here are my two little angels playing together outside in our alfresco. I swear they find something to do everyday that makes me laugh my head off. I was inside and all I could here was Daniel yelling to Oscar "keep your hands up Ozka or you will squash your fingers", I thought what? Now alarmed I bolted outside and this is what I found them doing.......

I have no idea how Oscar managed to get himself in the back of that trailer. Daniel ended up giving him the ring to use as a steering wheel because Oscar kept putting his hands on the wheels and squashing his fingers underneath as they rolled around, he is such a good big brother. They had a ball and so did I.

M.I.A.

Yep I am back!

I have been missing in action but I am back to bore you all.

Well if you take out family ill health and construction dramas with our new home not much else has been going on. Our boys are doing great which is what has kept me sane and I have the most fantastic news!!!! OSCAR APPEARS TO BE OVER HIS DAIRY ALLERGY!!!!!!! Sorry to shout but is a really big thing in our household. Now we only have Daniel to be concerned about which takes a fair bit of pressure off.

We went to the Australian F1 GP and had a great time. I confess I am a closet obsessed fan. I even shed tears of excitement as I watched my first Ferrari F1 fly past. We had fantastic seats in the Prost stand. We watched the F1's slow down around the second last corner, dive into the pits or continue around the last corner and disappear down the straight. We caught up with "BIG" one of Martin's mates from work, exchanged Fwaaauuuhhh photos and shared excitement of the event. We spent an absolute fortune and can now drape our whole family in Ferrari gear. We did the pit walk and stood on the straight. It was the best birthday present I have ever had. Thank you my darling husband I will always treasure seeing my first race in real life with you.

I want to send out a special thank you to Michelle and Steve for taking such great care of our boys at such short notice. I particularly want to thank you Michelle for driving out such a long way to come and pick them both up so that Martin and I didn't miss the qualifying. You will never know just how much what you did meant to us both. Words can not adequately describe how much we appreciated the both of you for your help that weekend.

A change is as good as a holiday

I was sick of my blog background and needed a change. So here is my new one, what do you think?

The boys and I went to Michelle's yesterday is was so good to get out again, I was really getting cabin fever being at home all the time or driving to the block. I have been running around like a chook with it's head cut off for the last few weeks for the building of our house. I am really missing my scrapping and card making I need an extra 4 hours in a day. I hope to get some time to myself again soon as I am feeling a little burnt out.
